I hired Helen Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling LLC to renovate a 1947 two-story house I purchased in Silver Spring. I am new to the DMV and was nervous about undertaking a costly renovation project. Fortunately, Carlos’ expertise, sound advice, and work quality assuaged my concerns, and it was a wonderful experience. Carlos was friendly, always responded promptly, highly knowledgeable, and his prices were fair. My scope of work was long. For example, he repainted my entire house, installed crown molding in multiple rooms, repaired the basement stairs, upgraded all the electrical outlets, created an arched doorway between two rooms, changed out light fixtures, and the list goes on! He also kept me from making a few bad design choices! Bottom line: I strongly recommend this company. Carlos will be my first call when I need repairs. Hire him; you will not be disappointed.

Carlos and the Helen Remolding team have done two projects for me. First, they consulted with me on the sale of my townhouse. Updating and refreshing the house to hit the market. The house sold in 3 days. I brought the crew to my new purchase and had updates done including painting, lighting, kitchen upgrades and a whole new deck. Our redesigned bathroom required a full gut job. Carlos provided a reasonable estimate to tile our entire bathroom, over 300 sqft of tiling, as well as drywall mudding and painting the areas that needed to be painted for a finished look. We found him easy to work with and he gave excellent advice all the way through the project. I was most impressed with the amount of work he put into the shower, more specifically the shower pan, which typically is where leaks originate. He added layer upon layer of protection to insure we would not run into leaks down the road. We are very happy with the outcome and we’ve already asked him to provide an estimate for other tiling we need done around the house.

We recently moved into a fairly old home, and the master bathroom needed a major remodeling. Carlos talked us through every step of the process and gave us a great quote. The work was quick and turned out perfectly. The bathroom is just how we want it.
